Are CBD drinks safe? If you're buying one that's made by an actual food-producing company that's in the United States (or the country you live in) then you're probably safe. If you're making it at home, you're probably safe...within reason.
Somebody selling CBD drinks from a rusty roadside tin shack? Somebody comes up to you in a bar saying here's a CBD drink? Maybe avoid this individual.
If you want to be safe, you can just add CBD tincture to the beverage of your choice.
Okay, so let's sort CBD drinks into two broad categories. You have those which are produced commercially, and those which are not.
Drinks that are produced commercially are likely safe. The reason for this is that food production is heavily regulated at the federal and the state level. The facility has to be kept clean and sterile, and so must all the equipment that touches the food product.
It's like running a restaurant. It has to be maintained to standards that allow for the safe production of food. Granted, how good it tastes is another matter!
Such drinks are almost certainly safe, as they are made to the same standards as other food items you'd find in the grocery store. Most people trust those products and any issues like contamination and so on are exceedingly rare.
Then you have those which are not.
And those are a mixed bag. It's one thing to make your own, it's another to take somebody else's word for it.
CBD Drink
Making your own CBD drinks is like making your own food. The only limit is your abilities and your imagination.
The simplest way to make your own CBD drinks is to add CBD oil to the beverage or your choice.
A really simple recipe would be to take a sip from a bottle of water, and add a dropper of CBD oil to it. Put the cap on, shake it up to blend and enjoy. Simple as all get out.
You could add the same drop to some club soda and add a flavoring agent of your choice, to create basically an Italian soda. You could add CBD oil to coffee and blend to create CBD bulletproof coffee.
Or just add CBD oil to any beverage you want. Add to a protein shake as part of post-workout recovery, to tea...whatever you want.
Really, it's all up to you.
However, where you want to be very careful is in CBD drinks prepared by someone else. It's one thing to get a CBD drink from a licensed food producing company. As discussed, they are held to the same standards as everyone else. Other than that, be cautious.
Unless you watch the person prepare it and see what the ingredients are, you should be very skeptical and just stay away.
However, CBD drinks are perfectly safe if prepared professionally or by you in your home.
